Artist, Kate Barattini, in Mexico by Fellipe Ditadi

Kate Barattini, an artist born and raised in the sweet wetlands of the Southeastern United States, created Rabbit Hole Mediums.  This is an outlet for her cumulative works of visual art, graphic design, and film.  The venture is her mind's work cultivated alongside a blend of experiences that encompass storytellers, musicians, visual artists, photographers, cinematographers, and editors all impassioned with the singular goal of making emotional, interactive content.
She began by celebrating the completion of her first exhibited series, Animal Shred (2015), the paintings highlighting those ethereal moments in surfing when we are not separate from the rest of the animal kingdom.
Shortly after, with the help of some talented friends, she got her feet wet in filmmaking and produced the film, Ear to Ear (2016), a short film study of her fellow ladysliders in Charleston, SC.
With the completion of these two creative endeavors Kate recognized that there is no reason to stop.  Why not produce another film? Why not add more and more pieces to the Animal Shred series?  Why not paint anything that incites joy? Life is going to continue growing and there is absolutely no reason at all to stop making whatever it is her heart wants to create.
So here we are.
